Maryanne Sternbeck

Experience Manager

I'm here to make clients feel welcome and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

The best part of my job is giving people the opportunity to discuss money and what they want for their futures openly.

I get a lot of satisfaction from knowing they've dared to dream about the possibilities available.

I love to give back by supporting a local charity that helps women and children.

When I'm not at work, I'm hanging out with family and friends or being creative—painting, sculpting, or baking delicious desserts to take to the office.

Something people don't know about me

My first job was at Floogles Fun Factory, where I learned to juggle!

What does financial freedom mean to you?

Financial freedom to me means having choices! The choice to give up a job that isn’t fulfilling your needs anymore. Having the option and flexibility in your life to join a midday pilates class or help in the school canteen. Having the financial resources to choose to take extended leave for travel or to be your own boss.

Financial Freedom = Choice

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive who would it be?

My Grandma. I would love the chance to have one more dinner with my Grandma, just to chat and catch up. I also want to know how it’s possible that everything she cooked was so delicious?? I suspect it was all the butter and cream ;)

What's your favourite quote?

"If you obey all the rules, you’ll miss all the fun." ~ Katharine Hepburn.

If you could live in any city in the world for a year, where would it be and why?

I read the book Playing For Pizza by John Grisham a few years ago. The story is based in Parma, Italy and the description of the culture, food and countryside sounded wonderful. I would love to live in Italy and spend a year travelling through the country learning more about the culture and history.
